About Ticket Purchase
There are two forms of ticket purchase. The first is by electronic purchase. If this option is chosen, you will receive a confirmation email acknowledging your purchase. You will need to print this ticket or hold it on your smartphone to be scanned at the street festival ticket gate. There will be no list of purchases so if you do not have a copy of your confirmation email you will not be allowed entry. If you need a receipt please refer to PayPal as their documentation serves as your purchase receipt.
The second form is “in person” purchase at the street festival gate. Once you pay you will be outfitted with a wristband that must be worn at all times in the street festival and re-entry. No receipt is available through this form of purchase. Questions can be directed to firstname.lastname@example.org
Unless indicated otherwise, prices include all applicable taxes and/or cash discounts (if available).
NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN ONSITE. Electronic purchase tickets may be cancelled and a full refund will be given until March 1, 2017. Cancellation and refund of 1/2 purchase price will be given until March 20, 2017. Refunds are paid out via PayPal. Refunds are administered this way due to street festival budget requirements.
Sponsor Refund Policy
No refunds are available to paid sponsors once a company logo has been added to marketing materials. Logos are added within 48 hours of cleared payment.
Commercial and Marketing Activities
The purchase of all admission tickets are for a non-commercial attendee. In short, a general admission ticket does not grant permission or license for an individual or company to participate in any commercial or marketing activities to include, but not limited to: distribution of business cards, handouts, brochures, or other marketing materials; also activities to procure new customers or to make attendees aware of products or services. If you are interested in this sort of on-site marketing, please contact Andrew M. Odom at email@example.com. If found to be in breach of this term you will be asked to leave the street festival at once.
I waive, release and discharge from any and all liability, including but not limited to, liability arising from the negligence or fault of the entities or persons released, for my death, disability, personal injury, property damage, property theft, or actions of any kind which may hereafter occur to me including my traveling to and from this activity, the following entities and persons: TinyHouseNC, Tiny r(E)volution, the 2017 TinyHouseNC Street Festival, Andrew M. I will hold harmless and will not sue or pursue other legal actions against Andrew M. Odom, TinyHouseNC, or it’s officers, directors, employees, contractors, agents, volunteers, or representatives, from any and all liabilities or claims made as a result of participation in this activity, whether caused by the negligence of release or otherwise.
I hereby assume all risks of participating in any or all activities associated with this event, including by way of example and not limitation, any risks that may arise from negligence or carelessness on the part of the persons or entities being released, from dangerous or defective equipment or property owned, maintained, or controlled by them or third parties, or because of their possible liability without fault
I hereby grant permission to use my likeness in a photograph, video, or other digital reproduction in any and all of its publications, without payment or any other consideration. I understand and agree that these materials will become the property of Andrew M. Odom, TinyHouseNC, the 2017 TinyHouseNC Street Festival, Tiny r(E)volution, and other related entities or parties and will not be returned. I hereby irrevocably authorize the named parties and associated parties to edit, alter, sell, market, copy, exhibit, publish or distribute this photo for purposes of publicizing the programs or for any other lawful purpose. Additionally, I waive any right to royalties, attributions, or other compensation arising or related to the use of the photograph.
The event will happen rain or shine. Please be prepared to respond appropriately. We reserve the right to cancel portions of the event due to “acts of God” or extreme weather conditions.
First responders will be stationed on site at all times. Should a medical situation arise it will be handled as a standard response would, subject to all state law.
As with any event parking is a concern. While we do have an exceptional amount of parking, we encourage you to carpool or rideshare.
At this time we adhere to a very strict “no pets” allowed policy. The only exception is to active service animals with proper documentation and labeling. Service animals in training do not qualify.
Due to the nature of the event we will make all reasonable attempts at ensuring those who need special accommodations are recognized. For further explanation or with questions contact Andrew M. Odom at firstname.lastname@example.org
Alcohol, smoking, drugs, vapor cigarettes
No outside alcohol is allowed at the event. The consumption of alcohol is limited to designated areas and in accordance to our provisional alcohol vendors. Drug use or paraphernalia is strictly prohibited within event parameters with no exception. Those caught using drugs will be escorted from the event and no refund will be issued. Cigarette smoking is only allowed in designated areas and must be at least 100 feet from any structure or tent. Vapor and/or eCigarettes are also not permitted within festival parameters.
The 2017 TinyHouseNC Street Festival is a private event and maintains a Weapons-Free Policy. Participants are prohibited from the open carrying of weapons of any kind, including knives, machetes, pepper spray, bear spray, and firearms. Participants are not permitted to bring weapons onto the premises of any official TinyHouseNC event. TinyHouseNC reserves the right, in its sole discretion, without refund, to deactivate and/or revoke the credentials of participants who violate this weapons-free policy. Participant agrees that this policy is in force, and agrees to comply with the policy, regardless of whether signs prohibiting weapons are posted at the premises of any official TinyHouseNC event.
Discrimination and Harassment Policy
TinyHouseNC is about furthering the reach of the modern tiny house community in North Carolina. It is all inclusive. Mutual respect and cooperation are the cornerstones of the 2017 Street Festival. Every participant including builders, vendors, speakers, volunteers, staff, sponsors and festival attendees is entitled to be free from discrimination and harassment, both at the festival and at all TinyHouseNC events, on the basis of age, sex, color, national or ethnic origin, race, religion, marital status, criminal record, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, language, class or political belief. If you experience harassment at a TinyHouseNC event you should contact the street festival host – Andrew M. Odom – to discuss the situation and possible responses. We encourage all involved with the Street Festival to treat each other with dignity and respect.
